What is Vanta

Vanta is a perpetual futures protocol built around Robinhood Chain markets. Traders open leveraged long or short exposure to any listed asset from a single terminal, with collateral held in USDC and settlement handled onchain.

There is no expiry. Positions stay open as long as margin requirements are met, and funding payments keep the perpetual price anchored to the underlying spot index.

Core primitives

Every market on Vanta is composed of four parts:

• An index price aggregated from Robinhood Chain liquidity sources
• A mark price used for PnL and liquidation calculations
• A funding rate that transfers value between longs and shorts
• A liquidity vault that acts as counterparty to net open interest
